bernard may I suggest reading 'Words and music' by Charles Buttrose. It has interesting chapters on the ABC and the relations between its board staff and general managers in the 60's and 70's the more things change the more they remain the same.

Top effort by Major Bruntie.

What a sound chap he turned out to be and to think some of us establishment types doubted the mans credentials.

In the end he got the message out through enemy lines and was let down by the enlisted men. Shame on you Bernard. How could you have let the Tories down.

We had but one chance to storm the barricades. We had inside knowledge from Major Bruntie and we let the secret code through to the keeper

Bad form Private Bernard
