Housing crisis for McCain

So John McCain couldn’t tell Mike Allen and Jon Martin how many houses he owns. Is this a huge deal? The Obama campaign certainly thinks so.

Obama jumped on the story at a town hall meeting in Virginia today:

John McCain was asked recently: How many houses do you have? And he said, “I’m not sure I’ll have to check with my staff.” True quote he said, “I’m not sure I’ll have to check with my staff.”

So they asked his staff and they said at least four.
