		<description>Quite clearly, the best way forward in this matter is to tax churches&#039; commercial activities normally, but allow deductions from net taxable income where that income is applied to charitable activities like pastoral care and proselytising. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Earnings retained for re-investment or distributed to non-charitable recipients should be taxed, as is the case for other businesses.  &lt;br /&gt;</description>
