Not saving, not investment in productive infrastructure. So how does reducing the cost of the housing-mortgate-ATM nexus help? Either way inflation remains up and the only thing which seems likely to reduce it is a sharp downturn in economic activity. Time for the recession no-one wants but we have to have?
