Don’t you read what you have written? I refer to the instructions to the independent trustees.
Just because they knew what went in they apparently have no knowledge of the ongoing state of the trust.

Trifle envious are we Stevie Wievie? im sure if you got off your backside and used your brain and intelligence as Mr Rudd and Ms Rein have done over the years you too would enjoy the prosperity they obviously do. Of course envy is the curse of the poorer class, you qualify to join the Bolts and Akermans of this world who , like yourself are not crying poverty but hardly will reach the lofty heights of splendid riches you write of. Why I wonder is it a huge sin for the Pm and his mrs to be very well off and earn your displeasure when there are many many others who are more wealthy yet do not attract your spiteful utterances

Stephen, your argument is dubious both logically and legally. A blind trust depends like any trust upon the wording of the trust instrument. In this case the beneficiaries are not to be told what happens to the shares. While they may know what went into it they do not have the right to know what actually happened with the shares. All they would be entitled to is information its performance. It may have had ANZ when it started but that does not mean it still has it.

OK, my mind is a cesspool of trivia but Stephen Mayne should know better than to refer to Therese as our “first lady” - that sobriquet belongs to Marlene Jeffery. And on that subject when Quenten Bryce assumes the faux job as head of state ( which she never will be - that’s because the real head of state lives in London), we wont have a first lady at all, but we will get a first gentleman - hubby Michael Bryce. And while i’m here, if Stephen keeps publishing details of the Rudd’s fortune, he’ll removed Andrew Bolt’s mad obsession about the climate back to the Rudds. His trailer trash anonymous bloggers will be more strident and offensive than ever. Think of the mayhem and angst you will be responsible l for Stephen, please!
