People who think that they know all the anwers rarely do. <br /><br />It does make me wonder if McCain believes what he says or whether it's the standard pithy conservative populism that the Reps roll out each election. Far be it from me to try to convert those with no room in their mind for doubt - but Obama would be betraying a lot of people if he answered as McCain did, I thought that his answer wasn’t bad. Betraying people? This guy adopts the classic Left liberal pro abortion rhetoric and he worries about betraying people!. He has no compunction denying the legal protection he and his liberal ilk enjoy from the most vulnerable because he's not sure if they're human beings. This from a guy who studied at Harvard. This from the champion of the marginalised?<br />The logical and ethical thing to do if the humanity of the unborn was a significant consideration in determining the moral status of those you are about to annihilate is to hold your fire until you've resolved your doubts one way or the other.<br />But the truth be known it has never mattered to the Abortion industry and its apologists whether the unborn child is human.<br />You ask a mother, newly pregnant, what she 's carrying within her. Obama clearly gave the more considered answers, which would be great in a president but not so much in a presidential candidate, especially one that needs to win states like Colorado.<br /><br />11 weeks to go.
