Where is the evidence that drug taking for performance would result in less severe athlete health outcomes? East Germany&#039;s many deaths and US Baseball deaths would indicate otherwise.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. If you take away the endeavour (or spirit) you&#039;re redefining the term &quot;sport&quot; aren&#039;t you?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. In the commercialised world of sport, the real loss is to those hard workers who come second to a drug cheat. If Marion Jones had to pay her wealth to the people she &quot;defeated&quot; now she&#039;s been caught out, there is less incentive.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. In my mind, Floyd Landis was not the winner of the 2006 Tour de France. I have no respect for him. He is not a sportsman, but because of (3) above, I can&#039;t recall the real winner, and I doubt that person has received the reward they deserve.</description>
