Inquires show that no passenger seats are directly above the um, seat of the explosion on the main deck. Nobody has been able to produce a guide to the situation in other jets. I have a hunch that the ATSB investigation will come up with some more surprises, and explain why all three ILS or instrument landing systems went off line the moment the pilots heard the explosion.
