When you aregoing to pinch a story, pinch from the best. I just emailed Keneth my praise "Your article listed below is an excellent piece of reasoning and observation. The best journalism summarises a general feeling that people have, clarifies it and puts it down in black and white. The articles does that on uneasy feelings I have had about debt, housing prices and banks."

Well no, can't agree with you there Richard about Bren Bren. Are you being a little disingenuous or willfully blind? By all means be the 20C man on climate, agnostic tending to skeptic but the news value is still there. For one thing everyone knows when you distill the Lab-Lib word games they are both parties of business and the Greens are the real Opposition party, massively under resourced. So which will the ALP go with in the Senate? It's a dramatic question. Their own kind (the Libs) or make progress to a greener world? One historic decision there. The latter would suggest the consensus on endless growth will have shattered. News in itself. The hyper immigration racket by Big Business might be next. Then consider the historic tension over the vestigial Howard Coalition forces versus the next generation of Coalition in Hunt, Turnbull etc. It's got leadership and renewal angles. Ironically it's the Green Paper and the White Paper which are just words. The real politik is balancing the polls, the science, the next whopper storm, the US election timetable, the patience of the Europeans, the desperate pace of China, India. It's the biggest game of chicken we are likely to witness in our lifetime. A narrative that will rival's Darwin's Theory of Evolution as a unifying world view. What's not to write about?
