Here, here Tim.

Classic lazy Sydney Liberal-fed clap-trap...

In the state of NSW the Nstionals were the only party to pick up new seats at the last state election - Liberals achieved nothing - Nationals picked up two seats - Murray Darling and Tweed. In Gippsland, the Nats achieved an 8% swing against Labor.....and in Qld it is the Nats who will lead a new conservative team....but lets not let facts get in the road eh?

I'd rather a Nat under Warren Truss's leadership than a Lib under Nelson....who isn't achieving much at all at the moment, apart from creating a new excuse for Costello to take over leadership.....

In typical NSW fashion, you have completely forgotten (or perhaps didn't notice) that there was a by-election in Victoria a few weeks ago. Gippsland was retained by the Nationals. Not that I care - but it is lazy journalism to suggest at every election that the Nats are "endangered" and that this is a "turning point" or "the end of the line" or "facing extinction". Bystander commentary abounding with cliché is tabloid journalism, Alex - and you waste my time when I read it.
