The switch to digital signals simplifies how government dose confidential government business. The underlying reason for digital TV is related directly to the capacity to sell more licences facilitating the capacity to broadcast of advertising targeted to a specific audience, to broadcast into focused areas, and to focus this advertising on to viewing audiences. A report from our own antenna manufacturing business that a viewer in Pearl Beach NSW for example cant receive so called free to air TV because of low signal strength. Allows them to receive satellite signals, admittedly Darwin programmes but what the heck it is a clear picture. What is occurring here s the carve up of existing and potential revenues, by mates of government. There is no real secrtet here Edward James Umina CBD
