It is totally misleading to state that “we love Warringah’ os the “only’ community independent group standing in Warringah. Who has sent that lie? There is also for example “Wake up Warringah” - and those candidates now running under “we love warringah” used to be the founding members of the letter. It would be interesting to know who is trying to mislead crikey members and why those guys were kicked out of “Wake up Warringah”

Ryan - you should check your numbers before you start typing. Our numbers are based on the official numbers released by Warringah Council. Unlike you, I am a member on the Brookvale Park Advisory Committee and therefore have access to the correct numbers. All you guys can do is attack and bully people. We need council representatives that have the broader picture in mind and are willing to ensure that the needs of all stakeholder groups are taken into account. We tax payers are going to foot the bill for a 20 Million dollar upgrade to the Oval. Such a large investment requires that the facilities are used for a variety of user groups - not just for 13 events per year. We don’t bully people - we stand for integrity, honesty, open communication and an inclusive approach. Whilst we have sunk 20 Million into the Oval, Council has short-changed the community with a license deal to the Sea Eagles that undermines our capability to continue to finance the increasing maintenance costs and which is not even adjusted for CPI. All the while Mr. Delmege has been boasting in the SMH about the increasing financial profits that he might reap in the future from his venture into organized sports. Stop misleading the community. We don’t need more lies and more defamation – and get a life too, stop bullying people. We don’t need such an antagonistic attitude – we need to work together for better facilities for ALL residents of Warringah.

Christina - whinge, whinge, whinge. That is all you can seem to do. There is no way in heck I would vote for you for council. I also hope others feel the same, but eacdh to their own. You talk about lies, but what about the numbers your provided to the The Manly Daily suggesting how much money the people of our area will be out of pockets of. Poor old Grant Mayer had to come out, and correct your numbers. There is more to life than just complaining Christina. Get out there and enjoy it for what it is. As the spokesperson for The Brookvale Community Group, one would hope you’d get basic numbers right before you present them. I would be very disappointed (and I’m not suggesting you here) if someone worked on the council where agenda’s mean that false numbers are provided to proce a point.
Enjoy life Christina. Go bowling. Go for a walk. All your negativity in the media is a drain to me personally.
