The press gallery in the aerie in the 20 year old new house all sing from the same song sheet because they rarely see the outside world.

With all the huffing and puffing about honeymoons and boosting Nelson he is still terminal and the ALP might have taken some skin due to the misinformation and bullshit but they would still win in a landslide.

Hear hear, Chris Johnson. Having personally felt the impact of struggling to find employment after working in electorate offices, I repeat a suggestion I've previously made in Crikey - if you're hiring staff and a former electorate staffer applies, give them a go. They'll be hard-working, inventive, multi-tasking and doubly so if you give them reasonable working conditions - chances are it's been a while since they've been in a good work environment.

The Advertiser (28/6/08) ran a page 3 article talking about the benefits of living in Mount Gambier due to our high rainfall. There was a picture of a local resident and quotes from her saying what a wonderful place to move to. However our random resident was in fact the local marketing manager for the region. No mention of this in the article! A very clever ad for the region but not much journalistic merit.
