While the knights and dames of the Rudd Table busily screamed “run away, run away” every time the Member for Robertson hoved into view, as hard as they tried the chivalrous pair from the Central Coast still couldn’t quite top the PM’s mentions this week, their combined total falling a few thousand short. Brendan Nelson probably won’t be too dismayed to drop another two places in the circumstances, despite another grim poll, while Barry O’Farrell will be hoping the luck of the Irish continues for another two years and nine months at least (odds on), and Tony Burke jumps into the Top Ten thanks to horse flu and the wheat desk.
