After all most of those involved in that war are nearly all gone-unlike the generations after, from Hiroshima and Nagasaki who are still suffering the effects of atomic bombs. Next we will be demanding apologies from the Germans. Even Lord Downer says "move on" from the Iraq War- but those who promoted and are repsonsible for the thousands of deaths in Iraq ARE still around for prsecution for war crimes. It's not Marylin Shepherd who needs help but the millions of orphaned Iraqi children who do as we are responsible for them along with the hundred's of thousands of injured Iraqi civilians plus the mentally disturbed US infantry who will be needing onservation once they return from that hell hole we created. And people still criticise Kevin Rudd for maing a diplomatic gesture to a former enemy-now our biggest trading partner. A few weeks ago they lambasted him for not being there. Apparently the whaling issue was a misunderstanding between friends. Silly me. I thought it was a election promise. Rudd's actions place him within the moral parameters of John Howard and his corrupt crew. Why should you be agonizing over WWII when WWIII has broken out. Of course, whales don't vote; do they?
