Hills is definitely angling here. She did the right thing in not conceding. She has millions of Hispanic, white blue collar, and female voters in her camp that Obama needs come November. She has has the final card to play “include me Barack or die a long death” Obama cannot defeat McCain without Hills.

She lost, he won. What’s so hard about simply admitting the truth? A gracious concession speech is more likely to endear her to Obama to the point of his asking her to be his running mate. This crap about asking her supporters “where do we go from here?” on a website is asinine.

Torn Curtain! Spookily enough I watched the DVD last night and the featurette tells us that scene was supposed to prove to Paul Newman’s character the real difficulty of being a spy as compared to the early James Bond movies -as you say, its not that easy to kill someone. Especially when you have taken pains to show their humanity - although some scenes were cut out because it humanised the East German spy a little too much…

Does anyone think that Obama, if he were in Hillary’s position, would dare continue his campaign, even though it’s clear the games over, like she has? No, of course not. He would have bowed out long ago because he’d be risking his political future if he didn’t. But Hillary, well she’s a different kettle of fish.

She reminds me of those rich private school kids who go around stealing cars and vandalizing stuff, and who, don’t care if they get caught, cause you know, Daddy can pay for it.

I am rather bored by such fine writer having such a trite and predictable view of Hilary Clinton, the Wicked Witch of the West. No one doubts that she is tough and possibly ugly, but has it crossed your mind that she has asked so many people to invest so much effort in her campaign, re-inforcing her brand as a total stayer, that to concede on the day that she won South Dakota was just not true to the brand or her supporters. Yet you persist. How totally and regretably uninteristing your stance is.
