Commodore and Falcon won't disappear anytime soon, but the media's gushing "analysis" of what a brilliant job the Australian designers did played right into Holden/Ford's marketeer's hands (Will Hagon take note). What they totally failed to do was design a car for GM and Ford's future that made sense. This appears to be a corporation-wide problem for GM/Ford. They'll be bankrupt before they work it out.

Surely this is something of a reflection of how out of touch, to use an already over used saying, these car companies are. The sooner they get their collective heads out of the proverbials the better for our environment. The SUVs' that they produce are little more than pandering to insecure male egos and the sooner they cease production of them the better!
