It seems clear that the political strategy was to swing a few percent of mainstream, conservative voters across to Labor - that is always the task for Labor. No mind reading required, just recognition of political reality. The joke started before that PM joker lost his seat. That was a community effort at trying to define a joke. But except for the joker that lost his seat these are the same guys that were the government. Nobody’s poisoned or drugged them. I felt like a drongo persistently trying to point out what a bunch of (God help us, there’s not a word for it) freaky creeps had taken possession of our country but everywhere there was mute blindness.
