Talk about trying to shoot the messenger! One of the big question to be answered following The Age story is whether or not due process was followed in the appointment of the City of Port Phillip’s “white witch” consultancy. The Council has just been pulled up by the Supreme Court for failing due process on the skatepark saga, and legal action on the triangle issue is still to come. Perhaps City of Port Phillip Councillors should focus on their own governance issues, rather than further “witch hunts”.

Peter Logan is one of the better City of Port Phillip councillors but it is a bit much to imagine that the criticisms of the Council are motivated by a Walker-Jaspan conspiracy. As a ratepayer I will be voting against our incumbent councillor because she has stopped representing our interests.I think many other rayepayers in other wards have come to the same conclusion. A change manager who is an astrologist is just a tad more slightly otherworldy than some of the other things the Council has been doing.
