Weekly Wankley Award goes to…a typo
|
Even at Crikey, we sometimes get self-righteousness fatigue. Truly. This week, there was little Wankley action. The media pretty much behaved itself, perhaps due to the fact that everyone was locked up for the Budget and measuring their alcopop consumption. Of course, we could always plunder Today Tonight or A Current Affair for a story that’s vaguely egregious… but it just wouldn’t be sporting. So today’s half-Wankley goes to The West . A Crikey reader spotted this typo — or was it Twiggy attempting Chinglish? — and it tickled our fancy.
Ah, poor sub-editors, no-one notices you until the one day you stuff up.
