Steve, will you piss off please. All over Australia you tell us that Israel is the great shining beacon among all those dirty arabs.

All as pure as the driven snow they is. Listen up. This year alone the IDF have slaughtered over 300 Palestinians in Gaza, half of them children. Iran has not killed anyone, attacked or invaded anyone and Armedinijad has never threatened to wipe Israel off the map.

As for no Israeli leader ignoring the ethnic cleansing of Palestine. They scarcely bother to notice that there are 5 million Palestinians and claim that Palestine didn’t exist and that it was empty in spite of 1.3 million Palestinians being the owners of 90% of the land in 1948.

The very fact that they have the Chutzpah to have a Polish born president launch a statue in Beersheva for an Australian soldier killed in 1917, 30 years before Israel existed, while ignoring the existence of the Palestinians proves Loewenstein’s point.

You said “dirty Arabs” - that’s an interesting term since I’ve never used it and I’m surprised to see you say it as you are the ever-obsequious one to the Arabs. Care to share your experiences here?
I’m sure Mr Rudd didn’t accept your “true translations” and promptly threw them in the garbage. Ahmadinejad doesn’t care if apologists like you mistranslate what he says because ultimately, he hates you as much as he hates the Jews. It must be sad being an angry old woman, perpetually on the dole with nothing better to do than rant online all day. Next time you’ve come back all hot and sweaty from frequenting refugee camps and conducting intimate meetings with Merv, Patricia, Gidgee and Mulga Crumblebrain maybe you’ll have have some sense to read another book besides Ilan Pappe. Hitting below the belt there Steve Perry with your cheap jibe “perpetually on the dole etc” especially when commenting on Israel that at least once was a shining beacon of true social democracy-now ruled by rightists who treat Arabs as lesser beings in their own country (ie: Israel). A fairly good proportion of the Israeli citizens do care about what is happening to their country under the right-wing cabal running the place and accusing all and sundry as “anti-Semtic” with a viciousness that has tentacles that reaches to every corner of the earth and seeks to silence even the Marilyns of Adelaide. Lowenstein of course is simply reduced to a “self hating Jew”-not in such simple terms but by many clever ways. A pox on Israel’s current rulers and their puppets in the White Houase who have ensured dozens of years of turmoil and hundred’s of thousands of deaths to secure Israel’s increasing borders.
