Brendan, you do have a humourous side after all. I love seeing nine percent Nelson when he is angry, the blood rushes to his face, the eyes bulge, the forehead takes on a roller coaster ride of up down up down, its clever. But the intent of your story is all too true. Nelson has already indicated where his speech will take us, with his moment of glory being the announcement, the coalition will block the alcopop bill in the senate.
Thus the Coalition will once again be restored to its former Howard years of dicipline, toughness, hardball, no nonsense boot em in the never nevers. Australia will see the rebirth of a once proud bunch of ummmmmmm losers. And pigs will fly. What a pack of imbociles. Cant wait for Julia Gillards speech in the budget debate, she is a ripper.

At that point Our Beloved Kev stood up and cried ” At least we saved them from themselves. Imagine if we had given them the $40 billion to spend or God forbid….encourage them to save that for themselves or if we had allowed them to get private health insurance when that was clearly what they wanted ….IT”S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD! The big joke is that what we are seeing in the senior Lib team are the same people that have always been there. It is inappropriate to stimulate our central nervous system compassion centre and induce feeling sorry for them because one feels they are suffering the debilitating condition ‘suddenly in opposition’. There is no such condition. They are just the same but first time exposed, uncovered by the dark cloak of John Howard sudden swished away and exposed for us to discover them in the light.

What is to become of the wealthy now? No longer can they claim tax credits for the purchase of shares that subsidise their incomes? No longer are they the beneficiaries of welfare forcing them to dip into their wages (assuming the earn them) and the dividends of said shares to populate this country? Maybe Rudd recognises that the fertility rate will fall now they don’t have access to the baby bonus hence the increase in skilled migration - cut out the middle years.

Nic, this is not garbage, you must delete such hard words from your vocabulary. This country is crying out for a leader like Brendan. A leader who will stoop and raise the miserable affluent and slip them $5000 from his own pocket, who will say a kind word to those who are starving having lost their tax-free meal card, who will open the door for the eager BMW purchaser, who will say “enough is enough, my people are hurting” when the Labor whip is swishing across the land.

I love the families earning over $150,000 a year that infested our tabloids all day whining because they HAVE to send their kids to private school and a miserly $3,000 a week compared to all those fortunate pensioners on less than $300 makes it just so hard to cope.

Not to mention that there are about 1 billion people existing on $1 per day and they never get mentioned while fat, dumb Australian’s whinge and while the liberals continue down the road of killing the brains of the children with grog before they can learn to think.

What a contrast to all the ranting about the evils of grop among aboriginal kids and men.

I guess then if they don’t manage to kill off all the brain cells with grog they can insist on big, fast cars - more bang for your buck if you can’t stop.
