The choice of leader of the National Liberal Party demonstrates how the remaining dross could not bring themselves to step away from Howardism just yet, otherwise how can you explain Nelson beating Turnbull. I suspect before Malcolm gets a go they may even lower themselves to choose a woman, after all she still stands for all things Howard believed in and she is not Malcolm who doesn't.
