Proof they are more concerned about their own survival than the situation the Burmese population are in. Is all very well for leaders around the world to express shock and horror at the barbaric actions of the generals. Whats required is action. The yanks have the idea, fly in drop the aid and to hell with the generals. What will they do shoot the planes down? The thought of just handing over millions of dollars and food medicine and shelter to the Govt is an open invitation for those corrupt murderes to hord what they want for their own use and to hell with their people. The gutless Burmese Army wouldnt stand and fight if opposed by real fair dinkum soldiers, they prefer to kill and beatup helpless unarmed monks and civilians. Something must be done now. They must realise that right or wrong the whole world see's Burma as China's sphere of influence. A joint China UN intervention would be impossible for Burma to refuse, surely?
