Further: covering tragedies like the Burmese cyclone first and foremost in terms of how many Australians were killed is hideous, as though Burmese lives are somehow less worthy of our consideration. And putting milk in tea WHILE THE TEABAG IS STILL IN is revolting. Not in a way that’s easy to pinpoint but viscerally so nonetheless.
