The media campaign against the actions proposed to stop teen age binge drinking are surely related to the influence of the alcohol industry on them. The way to stop binge drinking lies squarely in the hands of the liquor industry. They should be good publicans and limit the booze they sell to teennagers and binge drinkers generally. Take away a few publican's licenses and booze shop lisenses and it will all calm down. If we allow the booze industry to carry on as they have been doing then we are down for continuing trouble. It might of course interfere with a few journalists too>
