These are in the lower socio economic group, mainly single. Of course one doesn't need the intelligence of a Rhodes Scholar to realise what the $5,000.00 is spent on. What we end up with are large families, in crowded unsuitable accommodation, with all the social problems that are associated. The baby bonus as it is formulated at the moment is a joke.
