		<description>Isn&#039;t it time you stopped repeating the old canard about McCain being a &#039;war hero&#039;. The man was a fighter pilot engaged in bombing and killing Vietnamese civilians. Nothing heroic about that. He was shot down and spent five years as a POW. During that time he was known to the Vietnamese as &quot;songbird&quot; because of his willingness to answer the Vietnamese interrogator&#039;s questions, all of which was recorded by a Russian agent. Those documents were later provided to the CIA providing rich source material to compromise a McCain presidency. Alexander Cockburn in the latest Counterpunch calls him the most dangerous man yet so close to the presidency. So enough of the &quot;hero&quot; worshipping and tell it like it really is.</description>
