My accounts as at 10March 2008 showed that they were not in negative equity. Opes directors were partners in Sarah Brown and they provided that entity with shares and a loan that indicate it brought its equity up to a positive level that balanced against the negative equity in my accounts which Sarah Brown cross margined. The accounts were not in negative equity. Once more, be careful using terms you don't understand. I have never been wilfully blind to anything. Wilfully blind is the man who shuts his eyes and drives on a crowded footpath. I did not trade when my personal situation was negative and when it was negative it was covered by Sarah Brown and was not in debit. I believe the ANZ bank is liable for all losses by Opes clients. I'm not sure what the implication of the new accusations from Mr. Schwab are but they seem to be either: 1. Mr. Murphy is a fool or 2. Mr. Murphy willfully or without due regard lost other peoples'(innocents) money. Which is it Mr. Schwab? Jeez, I wonder what a reserved apology from Crikey sounds like.
