This household does not watch 60 Minutes as it is considered to be sensationalised journalism. I had to read the article on Monday morning twice to get my head around it. It is obvious that the father and daughter have something mentally wrong with them. What is important that Channel 9 misrepresented the real truth. To leave half the facts out was so wrong and just shows what low levels Channel Nine will stoop to, to try to lift their ratings. Shame on Overton and anyone else at the Channel that had anything to do with the production of the lust of the Deaves. The title "Forbidden Love" reminds me of the untruths of the fabrication of the truth by Norma Khouri in her book by the same name, "Forbidden Love". Peter Overton should hang his head in shame. So what I find totally repugnant, apart from the incestuous relationship,is the naming and presumably shaming of the little girl at the center of the case. Admitedly she is an infant; but no doubt there will be plenty prepared to point the finger at her when she is old enough to understand the case. And we were regailed by psychologists waffling about the likely harm to the psyche of the child, while participating in this exhibition. Instead of investigating the issue, reporting the problem in a factual manner & possibly have a qualified financial person dispense some info on how to address the issue of personal debt. He sensualises the problem, the old routine of parading unfortunate folk in front of the camera & trying to make them cry. Going to create a Peter Overton hate group!!! Peter Overton sucks!!!!
