Brilliant — from my own experience of him, this captures Henderson perfectly. I had never considered what poor old Anne has to put up with.

Gerard is sometimes described as “humourless”. I don’t know if this is true but, even if it is, I suspect he would nevertheless find it hard to suppress a chuckle at this piece of very amusing satire. I must keep an eye out for Anne this week as Lindfield Coles is my own super of choice.
