Canberra to Sydney is 1/2 an hour by plane? (falls off seat laughing) It takes more than 1/2 an hour merely to board the damned thing, and we're ignoring commute to and from airports, time in the air etc. Ok, a PM can avoid some of that, but some is simply unavoidable. Allowing 2 hours between appointments would be reasonable. Perhaps Kevin *wants* to snub them in a semi-diplomatic way. It would be understandable, given their stance on complaints about Tibet.
