I don't subscribe to Crikey because I want to see videos of giggling babies or self-tying shoelaces on YouTube, yet confronted with these temptations at the start of the email I find it hard to refrain from clicking. I'd bet, though, that your ad views have gone up significantly since including the "video of the day" (not necessarily with any benefit to the advertiser), so good on you.
