Gerard never ceases to amaze. In the OZ he was saying that because only about 4% of complaints made against the ABC, it follows that this means the ABC has trouble acknowledging mistakes. WRONG! Could we not, dear Gerard, equally conclude from that fact that it simply means most complaints to the ABC have no merit?

I have seen the complaints the ABC gets each week (dont' worry, not an employee or anything!) and most of them are entirely frivolous. It may interest people to know that during the war between Israel and Hezbollah last year, the ABC received equal numbers of complaints alledging biased coverage in favour of Israel as they did against it (and the same for Hezbollah). If anything, the ABC should release it's complaints for public viewing, so that those who make them can be suitably mocked (in particular one complaint addicted fool)

Oh dear precious Gerard, all pomp and puff. His problem ,he is becoming more irrelevant by the day and he knows it. Time to retire old chap, take a nap on the porch then sunset drinkies with your buddy David Flynn. Your contributions are increasingly boring and terribly old hat, doubt anyone really cares anymore. Well perhaps the well known Rudd Stalker on the Tele, Akerman does. Birds of a feather really. Imagine that trio chewing the fat? The PM's ears would be burning.
