		<description>Well, the case for GM is hardly as clear as you imply. To use China as a regulatory standard on anything is worse than a joke, it&#039;s intellectual violence. Again Argentina? Hardly. Naturally the industry want to control the seed source for all time with vertical integration of the inputs to production. This in itself is cause for precaution. Which actually is ethical scientific method. If you are so libertarian why sanitise Dow and Monsanto promoting confidentiality clauses for contamination over farm boundaries all over North America leveraging their big legal budgets? China Inc in sync with US mega corps: Both totalitarian regimes? This whole thing wouldn&#039;t have anything to do with exponential market growth in organic produce/market - yer think?

As for The Oz being read for politics versus other meeja, not convinced. This is likely an artefact of much lower readership of the Oz generally. More would likely read SMH, SDT politics but still outside their respective  top 5 rank?</description>
