Since my first post didn’t get added I shall try again. Pascoe is just another peddler in minutiae to pander to the “Earth Hour is not cool enough” crowd who discourage any form of action unless it conforms to their narrow minded views of the issue. Enough articles about nothing, already!

One hundred years ago, smoke from from Sydney’s wood fires, oil lanterns and tens of thousands of candles prevented long-distance views across Sydney. Especially, in the winter months.
