I doubt this is the whole story. I suspect that where the money is spent overseas, we won’t see it in these reports. Medical specialists get 1st class air travel, food, accom, booze, entertainment at int’l conferences. It’s obscene.

Just a further example of an 18th. Century system being used, abused and trying to cope with the technology and expectations of a 21st. Century society (I would say “economy” but I am not that depraved, yet!).
