Well, the result turned on 10K voters (?!), hardly a Ruddslide (contra Mackerras), and unions did ALOT of heavy lifting. Latham did 2 ‘unforgivable’ things electorally telling the truth on 1. immoral Gunns pulp mill 2. Bush’s evil Iraq war conquest

I think Mark Latham was somewhat traumatized by the character assassinations that happened during the dirtiest of election campaigns. How about we just leave him in peace now, after all he is not a politician anymore.
