What happened to independence for West Papua & the Kurds in Turkey? Nothing — the democrats in Indonesia & Turkey weren’t interested. Should Tibet gain independence, there will be a US base there before the first meeting of parliament.

A little bit of wishful thinking here,Tan Lee Lin is spot on.
In any case large scale Chinese migration to Tibet following the railroad will inextricably link the two “countries”. The benefits to Tibet from these factors will become obvious to the Tibetan

Frank: what if there’s a hint of oil in them thar mountains? Problem. How can we annex Tibet and call it the 52 (?) state? Or will we make an arrangement with China. The US provides the know-how & the Chinese the work-force. Profits US40%, China 60%.

not very likely. It will not go pass PRC that USS Nimitz and Kittyhawk just happens to be near Taiwan right now. Takes time for them to sail there. The US skunk works is at it again. PRC will make sure Tibet stays just for that reason.
