Is it possible to get a few bottles of what Howard was drinking before his recent speech? Then I can sink into senility too.
I must admit that I have accepted every bribe the rat gave. I took on board the “non-core” promise ethos and voted ALP.

Much anti-Howard “journalism” was rabid. Indeed I suspect the overt ferociousness of much of it was the reason Howard stayed in power for so long. I am not & was not a Howard supporter nor an apologist. This article is far from being reasonable.

The problem with Jim K is that any anti-Howard comment is axiomatically “left wing drivel”. Mungo has critically reviewed Rudd’s first 100 days against the background of the Howard years and his head-in the-sand speech to the AEI. Fair enough, I think.

Gosh where does one start with Mungo? Just one point. Welfare payments do not drive up house prices. What does is lack of supply, rampant speculation and baby boomers relying on their homes to fund their retirement and provide inheritances for their kids
