Why is Crikey playing along with the myth that Newscorp, & The Australian in particular, were not backing Rudd, albeit in their subtle, sophisticated but unmistakable way? Thay got their man in & now will have a seat at the table. Simple as that.

unbelievable watching Swan fumble his portfolio,most recently suggestinh that while suppressing demand and pushing labour costs up that unemployment would not rise. Alot of those with jobs under Howard are headed for the dole queues.
