Richard’s statistics on youth drinking tell us nothing. It could be some kids are drinking less while others are binging. Or they could be drinking less often but binging when they do. It’s the old, “average aussy has 1 breast and 1 testicle” trap.

Re fruit juice labels: by law, the ingredient list on all food product labels must include the ingredients in descending order of prominence, and also disclose the percentage of any ‘characterising’ ingredient or ingredient included in the product’s name.
