Truth is not always the way we want to hear it. This sorry nonsense stems from ignorance of truth and history, especially white history. Rudd & sorry industry talk as if Aboriginals are the only people with sorrow & hardship in their past.

KW said that it gave Aborigines a way out. Just because you offer people one, doesn’t mean that they take it. You can’t force them use the job skills. We’ve seen the consequences of not helping them modernise: in Aurukun. We should apologise for that.
