The usual suspects hopefully will include those with specialist knowledge and the desire for change, notably academics. Does all their funded research go for nothing? Otherwise who would you suggest, radio shock jocks and clapped out cynical journalists?

David MacCormack”s comments on Rudd’s 2020 summit is an unfortunate cynical response that seems to miss the point entirely. The purpose of this summit is to get beyond the three year political cycle upon which most Government policy is based. The Editorial in The Age online of today provides an alternate perspective on the 2020 Summit that is worth a read.
