The relationships between the states the Commonwealth and each other can be addressed at a convention. However what is also required is an examination of the role of the Cinderella of government - councils. Any convention must address their role.

Overlooked single greatest problem to a good federation - the meddling of centralists through Federal politicians who would otherwise have little to do. That problem stems from failure to uphold Constitution and clearly seperated roles of states & Feds.

Nice to see someone pointing out the States’ revenue raising problem - also a nice excuse for poor services - which is at the heart of the problems. Conventions are good but perhaps Citizens’ Initiated Referenda may be only way to achieve change.
