Lack of co-orndinated infrastructure investment is wasting billions and in the case of the Pacifc Highway lives!

It is high time that it prioritised on a national basis, and well funded by government and private enterprise.

Go for it Kevin.

Rudd wins by highlighting failure of state Lab govts. Now Rudd needs a bureaucracy to tackle state Labor failure. Where has all the state Lab revenue bonanza gone? Overpaid PS & construction workers controlling Labor factions. Same socialist waste again.

Albanese on 7.30 very vague, not least because truck tunnel smog stack(s) + diesel trains (1=6000 normal truck fumes) to service huge Port Botany will ruin amenity & health of ... voters in Grayndler + 1 million others. Gary Punch resigned for less.

Fund managers are going to be hesitant to fund any 'public' infrastructure until State Labor governments allow market competitive pricing. ie; the shambles of Sydney's cross city tunnel. Oz based infrastructure cannot compete against other asset classes.

The Age today - channel dredging consequences. Ditto for Sydney with the Port Botany expansion. CEOs of Coles and Woolworths say Inland Rail Line would cut delivery times but the NSW & Victorian governments not supportive. National approach is overdue.
