Phil Ruddock. Ha! That must be vestigal appallingness from his appalling heyday. He hasn’t exactly been front’n’centre lately.

I’m surprised we couldn’t round up more conservatives to find Julia Gillard appalling. Surprised, but not disappointed.

I am shocked to see that John Howard has been voted the most appalling person of 2007. Alan Jones scored only fourteen votes and he’s been working on his reputation for years. Even Piers Ackerman got sixteen votes (although he probably voted for himself.

Wow, it seems the Crikey readership is as strikingly left wing as the majority of its reporters. The most appalling person in Australia is Julia Gillard closely followed by Pauline Hanson… where are they?

Most appalling/appealing- I want to know who ‘other’is. He/she got so many votes he/she must be must be far more interesting than the usual suspects trotted out by the handful of voters cited.
