Really? Maxine McKew in her Sharon Stone (or in the new parlance Britney) moment?

The unfortunate pic, our nomination for worst lighting in a campaign shot, featured on the front page of today’s Canberra Times, accompanying the article “Howard’s End: Bennelong loss official”.

    MM not relaxed/confident meeting the giant ex PM. Anxiously deferential, indicating what? A delayed sense of electorate’s strong decision on 1.Iraq tragedy 2. environmment crimes 3. comfort to white supremacism? MM can take heart she won for good reasons.
