I know there are people like Nick around, I just hope that some are in the Federal bureaucracy. With a little imagination Oz could lead the world in quite a few fields, none more so than sustainable energy production. I'm surprised that marginal tax rates weren't mentioned. We need a thorough rebuild of the tax system from the base. Forget the BS tinkering with tax rates and calling that reform, what a joke. Effective marginal tax rates of 61% and higher are a much bigger problem. It needs to be simplified, and it needs to ensure that 45% is the highest effective marginal tax rate anyone pays.
