Denis, without material prosperity there can be no freedom. When we are slaves to subsistence there is no time for intellectual endeavour. It is our prosperity that makes us free. And if you believe otherwise, then move to poor but moral North Korea.

Why is there not any mention of political forces outside of the Liberal/Labor party?
The Australian Democrats’ aims and policies fulfil all of the above mentioned attributes of moral leadership.

Another lefty hypocrite. Fancy talking morals when your side spent past 30 years demanding the excision of the word “morality” out of public life when it was used to admonish vulgar individual behaviour yet now you want it resurrected as a left wing tool.

so much for properity… apparently we’ve never been richer but nobody I know
has any money. I was doing better during the recession…my wage hasn’t gone up since then..
